Wadim Borissowsky(1900–1972)

Wadim Borissowsky, the Russian Primrose, is above all known as performer and instigator. Numerous Viola works have been dedicated to him, e.g. the 13th String Quartet by Shostakovich (cf. M 23, 9f.)
