Una Preghiera (Prayer) (2012) is a collaborative composition for viola and piano by Katia Tiutiunnik and Ross James Carey. The piece comprises the whole of 'Prayer' (2002) for viola solo by Katia Tiutiunnik framed by three eight-bar phrases on the piano. These act as a brief introduction, interlude and postlude respectively for the solo viola line. The composer notes the folllowing subjects, styles, influences, etc associated with this work: Chinese music, Arab music, Jazz harmonies.
