Markus Fritz (born 1966) grew up near Heidelberg Germany and received piano lessons as a teenager as well as private harmony and counterpoint lessons from Prof. H.-R. Johner (Musikhochschule Heidelberg-Mannheim); there he premiered the «Three Dodecaphonic Piano Pieces» op.5; 1987 to 1993 scientific studies in Berlin; there world premiere of the String Quartet op.6. 1993 to 1996 doctorate in Dr. rer. nat. in Hamburg; there world premiere of the song cycles op.11 and op.12 in private circle.
